Success never comes easy. I found it interesting that it took him more than seven years to come up with his formula, most of which I fully agree with.
Groundhog Day is an annual holiday celebrated on February 2nd in the United States and Canada. Folklore tells that if a groundhog emerges from its burrow and fails to see its shadow because the weather is cloudy, winter will soon end. If on the other hand, it is sunny and the groundhog sees its shadow, the groundhog will supposedly retreat into its burrow, and winter will continue for six more weeks.
Modern customs of the holiday involve celebrations where early morning festivals are held to watch the groundhog emerging from its burrow.
The largest Groundhog Day celebration is held in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania where crowds as high as 40,000 people gather to celebrate the holiday. Social events are held where food is served, speeches are made, and one or more g'spiel (plays or skits) are performed for entertainment.
How much more winter???
An Historic Inauguration!
You'll always remember where you were on this day. We were lucky to watch it together!

Welcome to Six Blue's Wiki Page
I know you noticed the poetry window in our classroom! As you discover the meaning of some of those terms, I'd like you to add your knowledge here. (Share what you know about the words.)
You can even provide examples of the terms, if you'd like. ;-)
Does anyone know what any of these words mean?
